And yes, we believe that early childhood is where it’s at. If we can intervene NOW, then it will make the most difference TOMORROW.
Ready to change the world?
We are looking for early childhood therapists to work with kids up to about age 12. Need for our services has grown exponentially in recent years–we are in demand. We are looking for play therapists, art therapists, music therapists, dance/movement therapists…
Want to help in a different way? Let’s start with infants and parents! Now seeking therapists to work with new parents & couples with young children to support them in becoming the best parents they can be–because they need our support too! Relationships change when those adorable bundles of joy come home, right? If we believe that infancy and early childhood is an absolutely critical time in life–we do–then we had better make sure that parents and caregivers have all the support they need!
Want to work with the whole family all together?? Let’s do it! Families come in all different shapes, sizes, colors, & flavors. And we know for a fact that kids are healthier, happier, and better equipped for the challenges they will face when they have a firm foundation.
Do you want to make a REAL DIFFERENCE in a child’s LIFE?
Is that why you became a therapist in the first place?
Do you like to PLAY? DRAW? DANCE? MAKE MUSIC?

What’s it like to work at Early Childhood Wellness Place? Blair Skinner, LMFT, Founder and Director of ECWP, spent 5 years working in community mental health, and has spent nearly 20 in private practice and has done her best to combine the BEST of BOTH WORLDS at ECWP.
Do you enjoy working as part of a TEAM?
BUT you feel OVERBURDENED and UNDER APPRECIATED at a large Center?
Does the FREEDOM of Private Practice sound really appealing?
BUT doing it all on your own sounds OVERWHELMING?
Do you want to really make a difference for families in need?
BUT there’s so little left to GIVE under the DEMANDS of a Big Corporation?
Do you long to be CREATIVE as a therapist?
BUT feel STIFLED by the grueling pace and pressure at a Center?
What if you found a place where
- You are encouraged to be creative, play, and do your best work
- You get to learn from and grow with a fabulous team
- The business of the practice is done for you
- You have the opportunity to work with families from a variety of backgrounds with a range of presenting issues
Infant & Postpartum Mental Health Specialist will be a new expanded role at ECWP–we want to expand our offerings, so the position will likely offer the opportunity to work with postpartum moms, infants, and our early childhood population as well!
Early Childhood Specialists are the core of who we are here at ECWP. We focus on working with children 0-12 because that is where the greatest need is–and because there just aren’t as many therapists with this skill set. At ECWP we are committed to training even more therapists to do this work.
Family Therapists specializing in supporting new parents, couples with young children, and their families is also a new service beginning at ECWP–because we believe that one of the most important things we can do to support infants and young children is to build up and support their caregivers! This new service also allows our therapists the flexibility to see both young kids and their families.
Licensed Therapists take a leadership role at ECWP. They are hired as W2 employees, paid a percentage of the fees collected. Full-Time therapists see 22-30 children per week (ages 0-12) in individual and family out-patient therapy. Front office support is provided to all therapists including providing new referrals, submitting insurance claims, credentialing with insurance carriers, checking clients in and out when available.
Candidates for Licensure have completed their Master’s degree and are working toward LPC, LMFT, or LCSW licensure. Candidates receive hours toward licensure and SUPERVISION!
Are you an intern? There is a place for you at ECWP too!
