Maisy is a Golden-Doodle – part Golden Retriever and part Standard Poodle. She was born in September of 2014. She was certified through Therapy Dogs International in Spring of 2017 and works in session with Blair. Maisy is confident everyone who walks through the door is coming to see her specifically & she appreciates all the pats and scratches. In fact, she usually won’t let you stop–humans have hands for a reason, right? She’s pretty attached to Blair & usually won’t even let Blair go to the restroom alone. She prefers to happily trot to the restroom as a team.
Maisy usually has a lot to say and is very vocal. She will grunt-purr-snort when she is content. This happens usually when she is being petted. People sometimes think she is growling but she is not–this is the sound she makes when she’s in her happy place. She also tends to get excited and occasionally barks an exuberant greeting when people enter the office.
Maisy is also happy to show off some of her tricks for a treat, pose for a quick photo, or for a drawing.
