Has your child experienced trauma? Are you wondering if your child’s behaviors are age-appropriate? Are you looking for ways to connect as a family?
Logan Druckman, Licensed Professional Counselor, is here to help you and your child work through a traumatic experience or event together. Logan is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) which is a special type of therapy that will help educate you and your child on the effects of trauma. TF-CBT will also teach you and your child skills to help you both work through the trauma and reduce symptoms of traumatic stress.
Logan has been in the mental health field for 7 years and has been working with children in mental health settings for the last 4 years. Logan specializes in working with trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety, depression, sensory processing disorders, ADHD, trouble regulating emotions, anger outbursts and increasing social skills. Logan believes that the most important predictor for any kind of therapy is the relationship that the therapist and client and their parents have with each other. Logan collaborates with schools, doctors, occupational therapists and other professionals to ensure an integrated approach to your child’s care.
Logan has a Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Colorado and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. Logan has enjoyed working with children since his days as a camp counselor in Pennsylvania and they continue to be his favorite clients to work with. Logan will use a client-centered technique with you and your child as well as non-directive play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and many other techniques. Logan is excited to walk beside you and your child on this journey.
