Jada is committed to providing a warm and supportive environment where your child will develop skills for managing big emotions and grow in their ability to cope with challenges. She takes a strength based, child-centered approach that focuses on meeting your child where they’re at. Jada also aims to incorporate therapeutic play and parent-therapist collaboration, with the understanding that play is the language children communicate best with.
Jada graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. She then spent three years working with children and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities at Megan’s Place Respite Care Center before deciding to continue her educational journey by attending graduate school.
Jada is currently a second-year graduate student in the Counseling Master’s program at the University of Denver. She is excited to use the clinical skills she has learned to create positive, lasting changes in the lives of children and their families.
In addition to being a student and intern, Jada enjoys reading, crafting, playing board games, and spending time with her family in her free time.
