She has a passion for Early Childhood and has over 14 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
Jillian Faux is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a specialization in Interpersonal Trauma Responses. Jillian received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. After working with adolescent girls for almost 3 years, Jillian decided to continue her education and relocated to Colorado to attend the University of Denver’s School of Social Work. Jillian graduated with her Master’s in Social Work in Spring of 2009 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2012. Since fall of 2011, Jillian has provided behavioral as well as social and emotional support to Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers in Early Learning Centers. She specializes in behavioral supports, attachment, and trauma-based treatments. Jillian was also trained on Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and school related interventions. Jillian has also implemented behavioral support plans in school settings, is familiar with the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP), Individual Educational Plan (IEP), and 504 plan process. Additionally, Jillian believes that change for a child occurs in relationship and therefore focuses on improving the relationship you have with your child. Your involvement in your child’s treatment is essential to supporting your child’s growth.
